to see the world
We create adaptive lens eyewear that helps people correct their own eyesight or adjust their own lenses with the guidance of an eye-care professional. It will transform the way people see the world.
Inspired by our co-founder Professor Joshua Silver of Oxford University, and by Professor Rob van der Heijde of the VU University Eye Hospital in Amsterdam, Adlens uses the Nobel prize-winning Alvarez lenses and fluid-filled lenses to develop its adaptive eyewear.
We are the world’s first ISO 13485:2003 certified manufacturer of adjustable glasses. We are global in our approach and our products, currently on sale in Japan and will soon be available all around the world.
Adlens has an extensive retail network of partners in Japan, our launch market in 2011. In 2012 we began our international expansion plan, building retail partners in key markets in Europe, Russia, the USA and China. We have also invested in a global customer service team.
